Victorian Bushfire Royal Commission – Kinglake Ranges

Community consultation sessions

Community members directly affected by the bushfires are invited to the 2009 Bushfires Royal Commission consultation on Monday 23 March.

The purpose of the consultation sessions is for individuals from the fire affected areas, including Kinglake, Kinglake Central, Kinglake East, Toolangi, Humevale and surrounding areas to discuss their views about key issues in relation to the inquiry, to be conducted by the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission.

The Terms of Reference include the examination of the causes and circumstances, as well as the preparation, planning and response to the bushfires that burned in various parts of Victoria in late January and February
2009.

The light lunch with Commissioners is open to all community members, regardless of whether they have registered to attend the consultation session.
