Recovery and Relationships
21 March 2010: Recovery and Relationships

In the months following the February 2009 Bushfires, the struggle to resume normal daily life has put many families and relationships under pressure.

In this informal yet practical session, psychologists Kathryn Allison and Tony Pirotta aim to help us understand the different reactions we can have to stressful situations and how men and women’s responses can create their own tensions.

Recognising the signs of tension and practical ways that couples can grow through unexpected challenges will be discussed. Identifying signs of stress or trauma in children and how they can be supported will also be part of the session.

Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
