Kinglake Action Network & Development Organisation (KANDO) is a local enterprise comprising of and directly representing people of the area of Kinglake and District.

KANDO shall assist its community through:

1. listening to the community and acting on what needs to be done
2. developing, promoting and reinforcing community strengths by understanding, appreciating and liaising with community groups
3. providing a place for people to participate and engage with each other in community life
4. breaking down isolation and enabling people from a wide diversity of backgrounds to join up and join in
5. influencing relevant decisions
6. ensuring that resources meant for our community reaches us
7. monitoring and reporting on outcomes
